Readers Response Writing - Students are expected to routinely write about their independent or assigned writing. Here are the focus topics that need to be addressed.
Our Reading Strategies are:
     1. Make a prediction
     2. Visualize what you're reading
     3. Summarize what you have read
     4. Find a connection and apply that knowledge to what you're reading
     5. Ask a question about a confusing part
     6. Think about a favorite part and why you liked it
     7. Think about how you would change a part you didn't like
     8. Monitor your reading - Did you understand what you just read?
Be sure to use a new one each letter!
